Creating an Alert
Understand how to set up an alert for a drug or set of drugs. 1 On the Explore Data tab, select record type of interest. 1 Note: You can only select dataset(s) you are subscribed to. To broaden your search to other datasets, please email beacon.support@hansonwade.com or contact your account manager for more information. Select the Datasets of your interest. On the left-hand side of the Results table, select any record(s) of interest by checking the record tick box. 3 Use Standard Filters and Advanced Filters to refine your search and click Search to load your results. 2 4 To set up an alert, click Set Alerts on the top right corner of the results table. 5 3 A pop-up screen will appear, here you can name the alert and set the frequency of your alerts to either daily or weekly and click “Save”. 3 Note: It is a good idea to name each alert with as much specificity as possible, to ensure you know which alert is being updated. You can set up as many alerts as you need. Managing Alerts Understand how to change the frequency of a previously created alert. 1 Once you have created an alert, you can edit it by navigating to the My Alerts tab. 4 2 Here, you will see all your previously saved alerts. Select the alert you want to edit. You can toggle the frequency of an alert by clicking on the (a) dropdown menu.
